What Newgrange is;
Newgrange is a passage tomb and a spiritual temple.The stone - age people built Newgrange and decorated it with quartz.Newgrange is over 5,000 years old.It is older than the pyramids of ancient Egypt and Stonehenge.
Before our Visit....
A boy in our class named Ian typed some questions that all the Class wanted to ask the manager (Clare Tuffy). All of us wanted to meet Clare Tuffy, and we did.
We even made our own Newgrange models.Among other things,we used tennis balls, bowls,papier maché,clay,rocks,oranges,towels,wood,bricks, cows, cardboard and even cement! We really enjoyed the trip and learnt a lot of interesting facts.
